Yesterday, a story was shared on CNN where a teenager is going to be sentenced to 25 years, with no chance of parole for shooting a gay classmate in the back of the head, during school more than three years ago.

Here's the story:

http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/21/justice/california-gay-student-killing/index.html

Now, my question is... Why has it taken more than three years to decide this kid's fate? Also, if you read the article, he was 14 when he did it, and they're changing the charges to try him as an adult. Is that fair? Is 25 years enough?

Discuss.

25 years for murder is fair sentence......the parents/family of that "faggot" got life.

and being 14 or 24 makes no difference to me....one should not kill (only exception would be to defend your own life)

the fool should have waited until the fag crossed the street then run him down, manslaughter 5 years max, out in under three with time off for good behavior. Just say I panicked and hit the wrong pedal!

no, he should have lured him into an alley, knocked him out, cut up his body, and burried it in 20 different towns.. so then he would never be caught at all!
