Uncapped rounds have always brought an air of mystery and suspense with them. The uncertainty of that strange loner suddenly building enough defensives to take out Storm and your small family in the process, always lingers in the minds of even the toughest mafiosos.. The last few hours of such rounds have brought many a mystery challenger to the fore, in the past, and always carry an air of hopeful trepidation.

Round 405 started of with the mayhem of killing following tradition I suppose. Defensives galore and noobs activating for the very first time has always beckoned death armed with AK47s. After the drama and excitement of the round before, a lot of questions were going to be asked of the United_Coalition union. The departure of their legendary leader Splooge, under the most bizarre of circumstances had caused pressure to mount on United_Coalition (perverse? Maybe). Their ability to withstand his loss was being judged by friend and foe alike. This was what two of the leaders of UC had to say after clinching their umpteenth bronze family killer medal this round.

From nexus:

We will continue to do what we have always done here. Play with respect and honor. Yes Ben left, but I am not willing to let what he built go, nor is anyone else at this union. The future plans are tough to talk about right now. I've heard there where new rule changes coming, since I don't know what they are, I can't really plan for them but we have a solid core of loyal players here, we'll be fine.

From Hollywood_Hubert:

Not going to sit here and say that the loss of Splooge doesn't hurt. IT DOES! For the family, and as a buddy, I like to have fun with playing the game. But I'll will try and keep UC collecting bronze medals as much as I can. We did good in this round.

When a door closes another one opens, no I will never run a family as good as Splooge did, but I do hope to keep UC alive. That is until they all leave for greener pastures of IU. Sometimes they have to kill us. They have to kill us because they can't break our spirit.

Istanbul Union and their RU counterparts have become the kings of killing in the recent past, and this round held no surprises as this goliath union headed into a quick lead in the killing family and supporter killer prizes. With their ruthless band of killers working around the clock to claim any defensive unit there was to kill, they again asserted their supremacy on the killing fields of TMB. Strangely, however the profile of Eck, one of the leaders of IU/RU carried a message of peace, asking the different unions of TMB to form No attack pacts (NAPS) with them. This is what he had to say about the round and IU’s attempt to obtain Naps from the citizens of TMB.

From Eck:

My round was fine. The family got 2nd in fam ranks and killers got first and second killing family ranks. We thought we would be nice and give people a chance to work with us rather than against us, but up to now we have realised we were well off the mark seems everyone prefer us killing everything, and are still more determined to try and hurt us instead of looking after their own union and fams.

Southside_Renegades, after their bronze killer medal success the round before were actively in the midst of the killing and looking to make the killing fields more than a two horse race between IU/RU and UC. Their consigliere, Schofield had this to say,

I wasn’t that active this round, and I should’ve killed more. SS and Renegades started working with Pope and NH and it looks like we're starting something big :)

The NH union he refers to in his message is the newly formed New Hope Union. After enjoying another successful round which saw them rank two families in the collecting ranks along with the 4th killer family ranking , we caught up with Blues who had these words of wisdom to impart.

Well, I can say we are putting together a strong union with some strong players present and past. We are putting together a union that bosses have control of their families. But, we work as one. This union is just starting to scratch the surface. WITHOUT HOPE THERE IS NO FUTURE!

In the free killer prizes an epic battle was waged for that coveted gold between Constanzia, Low_ryduh and Maddox. After leading for the entire round Constanzia saw her hold on the gold slip to Low_ryduh from IU, who took his first killer gold. Constanzia took silver and Maddox was overtaken by Crazy towards the dying hours of the round. Crazy took bronze and had this to say about his first killer medal.

From Crazy:

The round was my first round back for me in a while, and I haven't killed for a long time. I started out the round thinking I was going to kill overall okay, but as I continued killing in the beginning I was doing better than I expected. I was killing how I normally do when I kill on a regular basis, which was shocking to me cause usually takes a while to get back into that killing edge. I had no intention of wining my first killer medal at all, although I always dreamed and wish to win a best free killer medal ever since I started playing TMB. As the round continue for me, I've gotten more confident and when the last days came I was sure to do all I can to win that medal even though I didn't plan on it. Winning that medal was big thing for me, with lots of excitement going through my mind as the final minutes counted down and me knowing that I just won my first best free killer medal was amazing. I'm very happy to win this medal, and also I would like to give a shout out to the whole UC union, to Splooge, and Droopy. Thank you.

Supporter killer prizes were taken by members IU/RU union with Sheikh, Stop_cheating and cocamafioso taking gold, silver and bronze respectively.
On the last day we were treated by Untouchables don, Realt to a build high enough to rival any of the past. Collecting well past 120 trillion he scared any would be challengers to the hills. Taking the Jp and family gold with ease Untouchables once again asserted their dominance over uncapped rounds.
Level 4 silver was taken by Chance, boss of Chordary_Manifesto , a ranking family formed by ICS and friends. Level 4 Bronze was claimed by Sheikh from RU.

Finally here is the Turbo Round 404 Write up. Thanks to all who participated, the round was exciting and had many highlights!

Turbo Round 404 Rules were as follows:
Jackpot Starts at $300
5 per family
No Leaving families
Transfers on
Transfers cost 2000 Turns
5% of net to max
No Revenge
Family and personal Safebox at 50% deposit
Round Capped at 360k won or bought
10-1 Ratio on won or bought turns added into a round

With the 10-1 ratio added to the round it was know there were gonna be some big builds.
As the round started we saw Killers-Kill and S. kill almost 10 million in 3 hours. With a few hours into the round Kill was still built to around 3 million DU's. Htims from sdrawkcaB_CU built and zereod him, Kill therefore log's back in and Build's around 7 million DU’s and goes offline. Throughout the night we see him once again zeroed by UC. Meanwhile, overnight some builds happen between UC and Hypocritical_Splooge. Next we see Kcor_maj go on a killing spree and he kills around 14 million. Kill Logs in and sees that UC is on top of the killer ranks and Jamrock's farming won’t stop so he decides to go level 4 and kill everyone in sight. Anyways, the round finishes with Kill Securing Gold Killer with 17,620,814, Kcor_maj taking silver with 15,199,397, and Jack-Sparrow getting the bronze with 11,155,797. As for Free Killers, it was a close race between Belfast_born and Legendary.2. Legendary.2 finishes with gold killing 4 million, behind him is Belfast_Born with 3.7 million and in third place is 503edaps killing almost 3 million. In the family Killer ranks, We_Will_Kill_You secured gold by killing 31,059,206, in second was sdrawkcaB_CU killing 27,147,000 and in third place UC_The_Hypocrisy killing 20,880,000. To say the least it was a killer’s dream, a total bloodbath.

Now we move on to collecting. Early on we see AsolosKoR build 2.5 million and collect 10 trillion and joins owt_sdrawkcab_CU and banks his family member up. Half way through the round we saw another builder, Mr_Fluffles jump to level 4 and collect 24 trillion, banking up Kill and other RU_IU members. EOR Comes around and with 3 hours left Beavis(Cocamafiosa) builds about 16 million ops and collect about 60 trillion, 2 hours passed and Beavis has about 100 trillion. Last hour, we see Keith_Stone jump to level 4 he collects 36 trillion and then banks up the 2nd IU family and send to Beavis. Meanwhile, Mr_Fluffles re-builds to 9 million ops and collects another 40-50 trill and banks up in Beavis’ family and sends up, also AsoloskoR re builds to 6 million and collects 14 trillion extra leaving him at 24 trill and banking up 3 trill with 25 minutes left and still no challenger. With 20 minutes remaining in the round Rainbow_Bright(Chong) jumps level 4 and starts building and reaches 15,500,000 ops. Beavis starts to collect with his rest of his turns while Rainbow is also collecting rapidly, with 6 minutes left, Rainbow was on top of Beavis over by like 3 trill but Beavis had 130 trill in family bank, all of a sudden we see Alibaba Jump level 4 with 4 minutes remaining and builds 7 million ops and extremely fast collects 70 trillion in under 3 minutes. But he turns out to be with Beavis and IU. 1 minute left Beavis pulls out family bank and is on top by almost 100 trillion, Beavis banks up 60 trill and also passes some cash down to his family members. Rainbow accepts the loss and also sends money to some his family members and his union and banks up to get his family second. Beavis won the jackpot while Rainbow gets Silver, trailing behind is Mr_Fluffles who gets bronze.

Level 3 gold went to Lucibello at 52 trillion, behind is his teammate Starlite at 29 trillion and at third place Angel at almost 20 trill.

Level 2 gold goes for 14 trillion to Absolution , Silver goes to Scrappy sitting at 12.5 trillion, and bronze at 11 trillion for Regnits.
Level 1 gold taker is Ghost_Ripper with almost 9 trillion, behind him is Strawberry with 6.6 trillion, and finally Jumpstyle with bronze and 5.7 trillion.
After the round was over we saw a disappointed Chong put on his profile (in the main round) “Silver>Gold” and him and Cocamafiosa exchanged some words, this is what Silver winner Chong had to say:

“Shit happens. Sometimes people that are meant to show up don't show up. Sometimes things that are out of your control shift the tide from a win to a loss. It's no big deal that we didn't walk away with the win. Of course the win would have been nice, but I sure didn't lose any sleep over it. I do think the conduct of some people on the winning team, after the round, was very unsportsmanlike though. I see no reason for anyone that is not psychologically classified as a psychopath to message the non-winning side in an attempt to, "kick 'em while they are down." Very bad manner indeed. I understand that some individuals, let’s call them "e-thugs", prefer to portray a tough demeanor over the internet. That's fine and great for them, if they have some shallow need to fill or role they wish to play that they are unable to in real life (for one reason or another). However, there's a time and a place for that - like over a steaming pile of marshmallows in a cup of cocoa.

It saddens me to say that jealousy plays a big role in this game. Sure with the glory; envy is sure to follow. I honestly believe that is a pretty much unwritten law in all types of win or lose cases, especially if you are the winning team. But my real question is:

Why do some of you take it way too far?

Smack talk is always common between opponents in a playing to win situation. But the jealousy that most of you have is so overwhelming, you take it way beyond what it really should be, sometimes to a point where it's like we're not even playing a game anymore and serious just stepped into the room. Why not look at the winning team, dissect their game play and see what makes them the unstoppable force that they are. I guess some of you just let the jealousy take over and all that goes out the window. And you are left with whatever you can do to take the winners down, but doing that only leaves you right where you started. With you back at the bottom and them still on top, now even stronger than ever.

I have not been in the IU/RU Union for a long time, but I have been in this game for more than a while. Long enough to know who's who, and what's what in this game. At first I too hated the IU/RU Union with all my guts. I never really had a real reason as to why I hated them so much. But I think it was more of everyone that I considered to be my friends in game hated them, so I hated them too. So like a follower, I joined in with the IU/RU bashing. Messaging their members, randomly talking about their personal lives. Just being a total douche for no reason at all, but just because my friends were doing it.

I left for a while and came back to see my friends were no longer in the game, but IU/RU were still going strong. So I decided to take my chances and asked for an invite. I was sent one and I joined and started killing like I had never left. The thought that really went through my mind was, "why is this union the most hated?" As I have seen with my own eyes, most of them weren't farming enormous amounts of dus like they were being accused of. As I have seen it they were playing the same way these other unions were playing. The mass amounts of 0 in the game weren't only because of them. As a matter of fact, every union has played a part in that role. So why single them out? As far as I've seen it anyone is free to challenge when it comes to jackpots. I think the reason they have become so successful in taking the rounds is because their teamwork is almost immaculate. I feel if those wanting to take the round had a game plan like theirs then maybe members in the IU/RU union wouldn't be the only ones basking in the taking of the jackpot glory for these last few rounds.

So that leads me to this theory, the only reason I can really think of as to why all of you hate these guys so much is the mere fact that they are the best at what every union is doing at the moment. Most of you hate the fact that round after round they have been and at this very moment are the one to beat. This is very understandable, but why hate them for something every union longs to be in the game. That is an unstoppable kick ass union, filled with kick ass active players, that play for each other and win. All most of you do is complain about how what they are doing is ruining the game, but action speaks way louder than words. Then you have people creating blogs about them, creating threads, all for what? Because they are number one? They aren't the only farmers in the game, they aren't the only boosters in the game, they aren't the only operative killers in the game, and they surely are not the only killers in the game. They play the game like everyone else.

So what makes them so bad, the fact that you can't beat them?

They may even talk a lot of shit, but what do you expect from a union that has pretty much the whole entire game against them? It's not like they go out of their way to trash talk. Some of you people it seems can't even make a thread or blog without mentioning their union. So it's only natural for them to defend themselves.

The actions that some people chose to use at the end of round 403, was not only uncalled for, but childish to say the least. The audacity that some of you have to actually praise what happened like justice was served is the most asinine thing anyone can do. IU/RU and a few members of Lost Boys in no way deserved that. That move, right there was the signature of an angry, bitter person throwing a tantrum because he can't win. I don't know what planet most of you live on, but I live on a planet where trying to sabotage someone, because you're tired of them always winning isn't justice served, but more like a cry out.

Freezing people for winning? What part of the game is that?

Some of you may even say, "that's not the reason why what happened, happened." When it boils down to it, past rounds, threads and blogs prove it to be just that. To you followers, how about instead of praising someone who has done completely nothing to benefit any of you in any way, but put your minds together to accomplish something that of who you follow couldn't.

I'm not an IU/RU ass kisser nor will I ever be. I don't even see myself as a member even though I am here. Hell, I don't even care to communicate with anybody here. But I see how wrong some of you people really are about this group. You're mad at them for being number 1 and that's just pathetic. This union will forever have my respect. Don't hate the players, Hate the game. #TEAMIU/RU

My recent blog had struck a lot of nerves. Yes, probably because I forgot a lot of great families, and well was not up to some peoples standards. But as much as it managed to show some controversy it did two other things. One it got us all thinking about the good old times. And two brought up yet another great question.

One of the biggest problems with my list was how it was ranked. Some viewed it as the wrong ranking. They believed a union of greatness is defined not so much by its numbers but by the rounds it wins, and how well it dominates the game. This, alone, is the question at hand. Who is the true winner of TMB? According to many, a win in a game that has a jackpot is defined by exactly that winning the jackpot. But to those free players, their view of winning is far different than that jackpot. To them, perhaps, the simplest thing such as keeping a union of 4 families intact for 30+ rounds is a win in their eyes. Who is anyone to really judge what we view as a win but it brings the age long question to the front of everyone's minds.

Is a win defined by the jackpot? Well let’s break it down in a few ways. Now for those that are free players, they may say that even though this game has a jackpot, it isn't really winning it. Sure the EOR report says who won the title, but is it really winning if you already know who's taking the jackpot? Now, I have no facts that prove that rounds are predetermined. It has shown in TMB history that this has happened in the past and perhaps is happening now. So I don't hold true to the fact that this is exactly what is happening, but let's just say it is for kicks and giggles.

Free players will stick to the fact that it's not really a win because it’s predetermined rounds. They may state that it stops becoming winning when it’s expected. When the challenge and the unknown are erased. Now from a supporters standpoint, and someone perhaps that has gone for a win they would argue back stating that no win is ever guaranteed. That the chance of someone coming in and taking a jackpot win is always possible.

True, as this is, it has shown it doesn't happen in Main rounds. Turbos are a far different field and well a different blog in general. The point is, that as much as the title states it as a win, many will view it as well just the usual thing happening and really just a rank. Congrats.

Let’s now reverse the roles. Let's look at it from perhaps the supporter role. Can one call running a family for 40 plus rounds a win? I mean let’s be real here it doesn't take a lot of cash, talent, or brains to keep a family together for a period of time. For a free player, or a smaller supporter to hear these words, is just nonsense. From my own personal experience some of my greatest memories in this game have been holding my unions together for long periods of time. For instance when I ran HKU for 60 plus rounds, I felt like I had won a jackpot. To many, this is no major feet. Why? Well let's see I never won a jackpot nor did I make my family in the top 3 in the ranks. But I can guarantee you that more than half my guys in that union were proud as hell when we reached 60 rounds together. It was that feeling much as I would imagine it is for jackpot winners that you did it. It was your moment of greatness even if it was just for a little.

The question of really who’s the true winner of TMB, I suppose is more of a preference of opinion. But if that was the case, why do we all hail to whoever wins the most? Look at the Cypriot days. A man that ran the game through fear created a large union of supporters to do his work for him. Yet, everyone called them the top dogs. He had won so many JP’s that he defined the game into a win as into taking the jackpot. I know it wasn't like this back in the day when big supporters would build and spend huge cash, just to wipe out a guy that pushed his buttons the wrong way. Back then it wasn't about the jackpot. What caused it to change? Was it when people realized perhaps that a profit could be made? Could it be when someone set up a system of rotations for jackpots? Who really knows, all we can do is guess. One thing is for sure though. Winning is defined by the person. No matter what the EOR report says or even what the ranks say. Winning is in the eye of the beholder. Sure that sounds cheap and lame. Yes, it's something I would say to try and score, but it's true. We as players define in our mind what is a winner. We have since the day we started. We made a choice onto which route we plan to go and we went forward with it. We define the word such as winning in our ventures through this game.

So when we look at something as simple as a ranking scale for best unions in the game it will always be viewed differently. Some will say that those that controlled the way the game ran for rounds, or won the most jackpots are the true winners and the ones that deserve to be at the top of the list. Others will say that the true winners and best unions ever were the ones that held together a group of people for a long period of time without motivation, such as the jackpot.

So I ask you this, as I sure as hell don't know the answer, nor do I claim to know the answer. Who is the winner in TMB? Is it that person that takes the jackpot or is it the common player that has over exceeded their goals?

This involves far too much thinking for a simple minded guy, such as myself. I digress and return to drinking my whiskey.

Round 403 started out like any other normal round. Normal rules, normal families started out killing off from the start. The thing that most people noticed was the merger of two killer families: SouthSide and Renegades. How would they fair? Would they be able to kill with the big killer families? Read more to find out.

I asked Schofield what prompted him to join up with SouthSide and why he would merge his union with SouthSide and this is what he said:

SouthSide and Renegades have been great friends for a while now and always planned to try a temporary merge. We did very well and worked out some deals to get some more great killers from Cheese. I see how quickly we are growing and didn't think it should stop. We're starting something big and I'm glad that I'm a part of it :)

The newly formed killer family who have battling it out for Fourth and Fifth Killer family for the past few rounds set out killing everything in game. No one was safe from their sites. SouthSide_Renegades were now finding it hard to find maxers during this round. It didn’t seem to slow them down as they stayed in the Silver Medal slot for the first three days, trailing behind IU/RU. They ended up finishing with a Bronze Killer Family Medal. When asked if he was happy with their first round’s results, this is what Schofield had to say:

Yep, I'm glad we got a medal on our first round.

We saw the usual suspects in the running for Supporter Killer ranks and Free Killer Ranks. If there was a word to describe the Supporter Killer Ranks it would be DOMINATION, total domination by IU/RU. Sheikh was the Gold Killer for the round, followed by Cocamafiosa and Margot. I talk to the Gold Killer and found out that he was actually T_M_K. He decided to borrow the name from his cousin. When asked if he had planned to go for the gold this is what he had to say:

I have no Plan, I just Kill with my sub and always add 90k won turn cap to build quick if i see anyone has built, and if needed, Add brought turns. I started off by usually building to 120k-150k dus, but when there is no one to kill usually the sub makes you build high, (10k turns every 16 hours) so my dus just kept adding up around day 6 or 5 , till around day 4 some guy from UC, Scrappy I think it was built around 500k dus so than i built to 800k and he just suicided on our collecters.

From there he just killing as normal. If you built big you were going to be hit. End of story. The 3 top supporter killers killed over 8.6 million du’s.

In the Free Killer Ranks we saw Krax, MikeyD and Constanzia battling it out for the medals. It was a pretty close race right up until the end of the round for the prizes. Also in the running was Pointless. Now it’s rumored that Pointless was a Mafioso that also goes by the name of Protégé. It was nice to see some good killing from our free killers.

Collectors were doing their thing as normal. Well they were trying to at least. There is one small problem with collecting in this game. It’s hard to collect without any operatives. IU seemed to be trying to prove a point. Nobody seemed to be safe from Operation: Ops Slaughter. They were taking out Ops left and right. I’m not sure how many ops were killed, but I’m sure that it would have rivaled the number of DU’s that were killed. I have heard that many would like to see an Ops Kill Counter. One can only imagine the number of ops that would fall if there was one installed. We saw one new union form up in the last round, New Hope. The mastermind behind this is none other than Popebenedict. This newly formed union did pretty well in its first round. When asked what his reasoning for this was he replied:

Despite popular belief, there are many independent teams out there that, for the most part, simply fight for their own families names and try not to align themselves with one of the major “powers that be” unless absolutely necessary; each of these teams has at least a few very skilled and loyal players, who would do anything to uphold their families name and honor. So the question stands, why not bring some of these more skilled players together and create a much stronger team from it?

What has been stopping that from happening, why are players opposed? I think the answer is, because everyone wants others to join “their thing” and no one wants to abandon their traditional family values for something that might not even work. This is what NH tries to address, we are giving families the opportunity to be part of something brand new, something they can say they started and something that allows them to still keep their family name to fall back on if our endeavors do not work out. Our goal is to allow families joining our ranks to keep their leadership structures, rules and regulations, while following loose more union wide rules in order to keep most of our individual independence but also gain from the synergy created from all of us working together.

Our goals as a unit, for the time being, are simply to pick up as many of the valuable independent families/unions as we can and establish a ranking structure which will encourage those families within our union to grow and engage players that do not necessarily use a lot of credits each round. I think the value of these players has been lost to most leaders and we seek to change that by finding alternative tasks for these players, which do not necessarily result in pure dollar amounts.

Was he happy with what happened in their first round? Here’s what he had to say:

I believe last round was a great testament as to how a few families working together can achieve so much more then when they are divided. With only five families pooling our skills and credits, we were able to generate over 3.5 tril in family banked cash, resulting in a 3rd and 6th place collection ranking, further amplified by the fact a few of our most skilled killers snagged us a 5th place killer finish, allowing both of our ranking families to receive over 14k credits. I am excited to think of the possibilities now that we have picked up a few more great teams, like SS and Renegades.

I believe you will see our power and influence continue to grow as we refine our strategies and bring new hope to all of those who have lost their will and motivation.

So now we’ll have to stand by and see if NH really stands for New Hope or fizzles out and means Not Happening.

Within the last hours of the round we saw Katana start building higher and higher. Katana, who turned out to be Godfather2017 didn’t appear to be challenged for the round. He said that they had decided at the beginning that it would be his round. It appeared that it was going to be an easy win and that there were clear skies ahead. Little did anyone know the madness that would soon follow.

Well EOR proved to be quite exciting for any who were watching. One of the Staff’s moderators, Silhouette, was relieved of his official duties around the day 4 mark. He had left quietly and Storm didn’t freeze him, as it was a seemingly amicable relief of duties. With around 20 minutes remaining in the round, checking the prize ranks you noticed members of the IU/RU to be frozen. Well it seemed that Silhouette had one more trick up his sleeve, a bit of payback for being let go. Silhouette was freezing IU/RU and the other admins/moderators. He had frozen the staff and half the IU/RU union. It’s rumored that he was relieved of his duties because conflicts of his game persona and his role in staff. Either way he was making a last statement and man, was it a statement. With the staff frozen and half of his arch nemeses frozen, he was plugging away leaving his final statement in TMB. All while this was happening, several other players took their chance to steal the round. In a flash, MafiosoGod was summoned. Silhouette was frozen and Storm and the other staff were unfrozen. Game administrators quickly took charge of the situation. They added an additional 40 minutes to the round and unfroze all frozen players to resume what ended up being an uncontended finish. Katana ended up finish as the top Level 4 collector and taking the round. When asked what he thought about EOR, this was his only comment:

And as far as what happened at eor well it was pretty messed up. I wasn't happy. I was in blowing Storm’s Skype up quick lol.

By the blissful memory of many--and by the firsthand accounts of the targeted families they have unmercifully whipped of the face of TMB-- the legendary killer families of TMB not only possessed a long and enjoyable reign in divine power, but their eras of dominance were golden ages of terror. From the illustrious era of the Phoenix in Detriot, to the dark and fearful eras of NYCU and Southside. In fact, with ICS being the first family to revolutionize the way instant chat could be strategically used for commencing efficiently grueling destructive attacks, it would be preposterous of one to forget the epic killing era of Montreal's very own ICS. Moreover, it would ignorant of one to ignore the fervent rule and eras of Circus Nuts and MIT(Men in Tights).

These strategically inclined legendary killer families have made not only a bloody yet respected mark on many of our list of Top ten killer families of all time, but have become essential symbols of divine power and precise models for the killer families that would aim to follow in their iconic footsteps. However, as one could be satisfied with the iconic names listed above, there are two legendary killer families whose reign of terror, unmatched glory, and era of dominance set their respective statuses beyond all of TMB's legendary killer families; Ronin and Pissheads.

No matter how an individual tries to critically brainstorm, strategically fill in your top ten killer families list of all time, and make precise adjustments as to what killer family moves up or down on one's list, he or she will almost always take note of the dynamic Pissheads and legion-like Ronin. One will always take note and/or envy the respect gained, and not to mention pure power, Ronin and Pissheads gained throughout the duration of their respective existences. Even their renowned sieges on cities they [Ronin and Pissheads] took aim at can simplistically serve reminiscent to us. It is by these paradigms of greatness that leads one to such a remarkable question that has never came forth before.

If Ronin at its height in power, and Pissheads at its height in power, ever lasted long enough to engaged each other in a winner take all war, what prestigious family name would be crowned victor?

With such a match up, it would be certain that the disappearing legendary unmerciful Chainsaw would be taking on the root of all power-Cyproit. Ronin's warriors, such as Besttriggerman, Dusk, and Viper, would be going up against Pisshead's finest - Petenasty, Lips, and Driver. Easily, spectators could proclaim that such a war between the two families would only create a result consisting of a four year long stalemate. On the other hand, others argue that Pisshead's boundless wallet would be the only determining factor; whereas, others strongly proclaim that Ronin's renowned seed of honor, respect, and loyalty would outlast the power of Pissheads.

So, in an attempt to reach not only the truth, but a victor of the two [Ronin vs. Pissheads], I have decisively decided to reach beyond the stars, and contact a selected few. Some of few the Delian league acknowledged before the Peloponnesian War in 431 B.C. would make Greece a center of a bloody civil war.

Pallas: I understand fully, Philocrates.

Pallas: Ronin would be the clear victors.

Pallas: Never saw Pissheads kill anyone apart from Cypriot. If Pissheads wanted someone killed, they had Wolfpack do it.

Hermes: They [Pissheads] had a few killers.

Pallas: Ronin, a great killing family. They were very structured and very organized; they listened to every word Chainsaw said and that's why they won. Something people fail to do in this chat.

Ares: Ha! Indeed. Venus was considerably stupid!

Hermes: Ronin was a great killing family. They had people that would leave their families, but when needed, they would come back to killing with their family.

Pallas: Saying that Ronin was a great killing family is a blank statement; therefore, does not prove anything.

Philocrates: I agree with Pallas, Hermes. Please back your claims with sufficient support.

Hermes: You may have members within other families, proudly claiming ties to Ronin on their profiles. All Chainsaw had to do was message them and they would alongside their deadly don.

Pallas: Chainsaw, would often have members build outside in different families, but still manage to coordinate an efficient attack. It is impossible to fight an enemy you cannot see, as I found out many times

Amon: Pissheads had great killers in their families, and they killed when someone pissed them off. I mean, they were mainly collectors but they had smart killers.

Hermes: There were times when people wouldn't dare enter London.

Pallas: Pissheads, had some killers, but they did not kill smart. Only they killed smartly with just their sheer number of credits. So, I cannot class them as great killers.

Hermes: Pissheads had some good killers, but they also had a lot of credits at their disposal.

Philocrates: Pallas has a point!

Hermes: I'm trying to remember the killers in Pissheads.

Philocrates: That is a clever way to make good point. It was really only Cypriot.

Amon: Think about it, playing smart made them [Pissheads] have those credits that they used to kill!

Hermes: Collecting got them the credits, they just used them occasionally for killing.

Ares: Pissheads created something Ronin never did, a foundation of fear which they were able to capitalize on, on a much greater level then just killing. They were able to take the momentum of their killing and turn it into quantified collection numbers by beating their enemies (the collection families and other supporters) into gentle submission, while also suppressing the greater number of other killer families and forcing them to work under their rule.

Kronos: In a war of Pissheads vs Ronin, it is clear who the victor would have been. Ronin. They consisted of few supporters, but players of extreme skill and dominance of control. Each was loyal to the name, and most importantly their leader. Respect was the name of the game, very little with how the game is currently run or how Pissheads dominated. Pissheads worked with fear, a strong tactic of its own, but their pennies in their pocket, is what did most of the walking for them.

Ronin used tactics that Pissheads would not have been able to orchestrate in their wildest dreams - covert tactics, diving into the trenches and scouting their targets, coming out of the woodwork when war was upon them, and they never backed down from a fight, no matter how the odds may not have been in their favor.

For this previous statement, Ronin has never, and will never lose a war. For they may be silent these days, but they are ever lurking, ready to strike, just waiting on their commander in chief to return to the fronts.

Pallas: Ronin were pioneers of fighting low and dirty, they did not fight "fair", but hey, that's war. They would come at you in groups of 3-4 every hour; ensuring targets would not have a chance of building. You might try and take them out, but they were always maxed.

Hermes: Ronin was awesome to see come into a city. If you logged in and saw more than 10 Ronin online, you just sat around and waited. It is very simple. It wasn't unheard of to see them built up to-- or over-- 150k DU's. They would hit with efficiency.

Kronos: Is that what you were told to say Hermes? You are very irrelevant in this chat. You are the drama queen of the Gods. Be gone you filth!

Pallas: Pissheads biggest flaw, in my eyes, is that they would only fight if they would gain something, aka take out an opponent that was threatening for the win. Ronin would fight anyone who insulted them, for a matter of principle!

Philocrates: I would have to concur with Pallas. Ronin almost never fought for material gain. In almost all of their situations, they [Ronin] would fight for a matter of respect and honor. I cannot say the same for Pissheads.

Hermes: Ronin was very deeply respected in the community. Something you cannot buy.

Amon: Pissheads also fought for their honor, when they lost ops, or when someone asked them for help. Get your facts inclined, Pallas.

Kronos: Pissheads have no foresight, their biggest downfall. They're dependent on manufactured credits to support them, and they had no skill in the act of war. They had no ability to fight a war. They could make one wave, and they were kaput; whereas Ronin could fight on and on and on, such tactics will take a toll on any opponent. Pissheads are nowhere to be seen, whereas Ronin are still around.

Ares:

Was this a flaw or simply a conservation of resources and targeting the right opponents? Any fool can go around zeroing insignificant families, it is the ability to identify a true threat and suppress them that makes you a great power, which Pissheads obviously was. Yes Ronin could fight dirty, good for them, but did they ever make anything out of it other than a name of being dirty and hardworking fighters? That gets you nowhere in life.

Pallas: You cannot be classed as a true warring family, if you back down from a challenge because it is not in your interest. I will give Cyp his dues, he knew how to kill, but as the rest of the family, only a hand full knew where the attack button was.

Amon: Pallas, you are targeting the main Pissheads family only. Once again, an ill-advised statement from you.

Pallas: Are we not trying to figure out who was the greatest warring family out of the two, Ares? If you back down from wars, how can you be called a true great, or if the majority of your soldiers have never been in battle, well apart from the receiving end.

Amon: .Pissheads had other families that helped in killing.

Pallas: Yes, they had their minions that did their dirty work for them, point being? That does not make Pissheads great.

Ares:

BWHAHAHA! That is the most flawed war logic I have ever seen. A good general knows how to pick his fights and knows when to pull out, and let the enemy have their minor victory. If you simply throw everything you have at the enemy all the time, you will spread yourself to thin and it will lead to inevitable defeat.

Pallas: Cyp had his killing matches with Pops, but can anyone actually name a war Pissheads had here? Go on...

Ares:

War is not always about a single battle or endless fighting, there is a far greater strategy behind it. Demoralization, attrition, and the economy of you, and your enemy. This shows just how inexperienced you are in this category.

Hermes: I really can't recall anyone else that was in Pisshead. Besides, the way that rules were, Pissheads was able to buy that kind of "Respect".

Amon: Hermes, there were a lot other killers, but you just see Cyp because of his big builds. Others, within Pissheads, did it the old way.

Hermes: I'm trying to remember their names, Amon.

Philocrates: Beta, Lips, and Driver are some of the few lethal key players in Pissheads.

Ares:

"cause Pissheads was a Bigger family more people wanted to avoid a war with"-Amon

Yes, thank you Amon; Pissheads was so big and powerful that most wanted to AVOID direct war with them. They had the power of the masses on their side, they enslaved the general peons and all would fight in the name of Pissheads. So while they did not directly war often, they did not have to.

Kronos: Amun, no one wanted to avoid war with Pissheads. Everyone wanted to war them. However, Pissheads installed fear in the entire game. It took the motivation of the entire game basically to face them head on. Even that couldn't truly destroy them. The rule changes of Round 189 are what did them in. How do I know this? Well I am the God of Time, you fool.

Pallas: Ares, in TMB, if you go to war, what would you class as your goals? Limit opponents collection? Prevent them from killing friends? Settle differences until the opponent was in submission? Gain respect? Ronin were capable of all of them above, but not Pissheads.

Kronos: Ronin did not have to pinpoint anyone in particular. All they had to do was demoralize their opponent with constant waves of attacks, which they did formidably. That is as much of an argument as anyone needs.

Hermes: The reason why so many people were with Pissheads was for the free credits.

Pallas: Now I am still waiting for my answer, can anyone name a war Pissheads had?

Hermes: In an actual war, most of them were built up to be used only as cannon fodder, which was fine with them. So, I really don't remember any specific wars that Pissheads had.

Pallas: I have 10's of wars I can name for Ronin, but I never saw Pissheads fight anyone as a family.

Kronos: Pissheads declared war on everyone. I can pinpoint a perfect example of Pissheads versus Moscow (namely MBU) when MBU refused to donate DUs to Cypriot. This caused a total scale war, and even prevented MBU from cash from the bank for a while before Pops sorted the dispute out. Why MBU ran to Pops, well only their Don at the time could mention.

Amon: Well, Kronos should answer that if he was the God of time, or he might be snoozing at that time.

Kronos: Amon, If you are doubting my abilities, you need to be ejected! Be Gone You Fool!

Ares: Cyp was Pissheads leader, he was like the god king Xerxes, king of the Persians. While his personal army might have been small, his fear controlled army of the masses was AMAZINGLY huge and this is where his war power stayed. You could not possibly target all of them, because they were 95% of the game.

Hermes: It was almost a wright of passage to say that you had fought a war with Ronin. You also have to remember that back then credits did not expire. So they had more credits than what they knew to do with. Ronin was based on the old school philosophy of the game.

Pallas: I agree Hermes, and if you lived to tell about it, you know what warring Ronin means.

Philocrates: Ares, but if that were true, could you say the same about RONIN? They-- a well legion-- were held together by something less materialistic than what was keeping Cyps guys coming back and siding with Cyp. Am I wrong?

Kronos: You are not wrong. Ronin would dig deep into their enemy lines, even masquerade as one of them until the time to attack and destroy from the insides was necessary. This is true war.

Ares:

Not sure if Ronin ever fought PH. I know they could never have hit Cyp because he was never in range of these free players, or when he activated most of the time it was to build at EOR for the win.

Hermes: Respect, honor, loyalty. Pissheads were respected out of fear.

Kronos: Something which you HAVE NOT HERMES

Hermes: I have all of that Kronos. Therefore, since you are the God of time, you would most pleasantly know that I was the one who sent Zeus' very sexual message to your maiden.

Kronos: You are the errand boy, the messenger, you mean nothing to everyone and you respect no one but yourself.

Philocrates: Hermes, and Kronos, please refrain from derailing off topic.

Pallas: Cyp was respected out of fear, not Pissheads.

Hermes: Agreed Pallas. Even today, there are still players that are respected just because of their ties to Ronin.

Pallas: Well Cyp did have his few buddies, PeteNasty, lips and driver come to mind.

Amon: Don't forget, his small families as well.

Kronos: You are wrong. All of Pissheads were feared. Why? Because these were the errand boys of Cypriot, much like Hermes is of my son Zeus. Cyp would tell them, with their infinite amount of turns to annihilate a particular target or family. You did not mess with Pissheads unless you were ready to feel their full wrath. Before the emergence of BANK, only few were willing and able to do such, such as RONIN; Whereas, Ronin, the list is endless: Chainsaw, Gallio, Dusk, Ticio, Besttriggerman.

Ares:

I will not disagree that Ronin had a much stronger loyalty base and a man for man fight, their warriors were likely stronger; this however, is not the question nor debate at hand. We are discussing which family was the most powerful war unit in the game, meaning the entire package including control and dominance over their subjects. Respect and fear is the key factor. Pissheads had this, Ronin to an extent did as well, but not on the same level as Pissheads.

Pallas: No Pissheads did not have this, they never warred, Ares. Now if we had had a chat about Genovise (supporter family pre-Pissheads) or Wolfpack (Pissheads killing family Cyp used to war with) this would have been a different story.

Hermes: Agreed, 95% of his families were collectors to fill his pockets and take bullets so that he could achieve what he wanted.

Kronos: None knew how to rank, they only knew how to suck a teet. They only knew how to listen to their commander, Cypriot. Ronin listen well also, but they had skill and determination, unlike their Pisshead counter parts.

Turbo Round 402 for lack of a better word was destructive. One city coupled by no range means everyone was a sitting duck. Squeals could be heard round the TMB world as no man was left standing. Left for dead many tried to regain what strength and dignity they had left and make a fight for the finish. Unfortunately only the strong would prevail.

Turbo Round 402 Rules were as follows:

JP Starts at $300
5 per family
No Leaving Families
No Transfers
No Revenges
No Range
10% of net to max
Ops Hits cost 5000 Turns
Family banks and Personal Safe at 15% deposit
Round Capped at 360k won or bought
One City: London

With only 15% of monies safe and no range, looters had an all out gala free of despair. Keeping on their toes all round to gain whatever extra cash they could, I am sure it all paid off for them in the end. And what’s this?!?!? 5000 turns to hit Ops!!! Does this mean that some of the looters turned into collectors come the end using their looted cash as a nest egg to their final collect? Only they will know.

Killers hand everyone eating out of the palm of their hand this round. One city, no range, and no revenges left them free to do as they pleased. It would seem that the strong few took the lead and held on to it throughout the entire round. Supporter Killer Borat was in a head to head battle with the one and only King James. Lebron kept kill ratio at a close tie up til the end. However, Borat was able to bury him under a 1 million kill lead in the end taking the Gold and leaving a trail of silver dust for Lebron. In the world of basketball Lebron should be used to taking second, but who would have known he was a cold blooded killer in his free time. Taking third in the supporter killers was Chong. He put up a good fight throughout the round but fell quite a bit short of taking anything but third.

The free killer battle was neck and neck all round. The top three only came in miniscule amounts of each other. Each one falling only a few 100 thousand kills behind the other. Wonder if they were all biting their nails in the end just wondering if by chance they would be passed. Sheep skipped down the street with a proud Gold victory followed by Guardian_Life but only by a hair. D-Mo only fell short 100,000 kills on taking the silver. I would say that D-Mo and Guardian_Life walked away holding hands with such a close call between the two, but we all know that is impossible in the world of the mafia. I am sure they were gunning for each other in the end.

The world of family play was either a strong hold for a few or completely absent this round. With no transfers on and only 15% banking it was time to pick the best of the best if you chose the family route. Level One tiers possibly shed tears in the end with as close as it was. Billions separated the top three ranks. What they wouldn’t have given for just a few extra turns in the end. Trader took the Gold closely followed by Eldrine who was only a mere 2 billion shy of that Gold. Eldrine must have really been gritting his teeth in the end mumbling an assortment of colorful words as he lost the silver by a mere 3 billion. ASolosKOR brought up the rear in the top level one tiers. The fight to the finish in level two tiers was very similar to those in level one, only separated by billions at best. The flea took first by a giant leap compared to the others. $100 billion separated him from Di. However, only $3 billion separated Hawk-Eye and Di. Hawk-Eye took the bronze, but not sure how he feels with such a close call in the last seconds of the round. The Level three Gold winner had no competition on his tail. ViroTheVirus took the lead by a trillion over the Silver winner, SPOUR. SPOUR and Hyperion put on a good fight to the finish. Of course as we all can see POUR prevailed leaving Hyperion with the Bronze gasping for air as the race finished.

Now onto our Level Four top tiers and the ultimate Jackpot Winner. It would seem that the winner of round 402 had zero competition. CherryPop walked away with a seemingly easy win. Wondering if he struck fear in the hearts of many all round to ensure his win. What was his strategy? Who was this mystery man of flavorful pop? Only he knows and possibly too humble to glorify his win. Well my congrats go out to you mystery pop flavored man. Chong not only took bronze supporter killer but it would seem he was able to pull out a Silver level four tier as well. I salute you on a job well done and not done by many. Don_Mega took the Bronze in level four beating out the rest of his opponents by a hefty lead.

IU_RU union put on a show during public round 401. And to tell you the truth the inside scoop was hard to come by since their chief himself, Cocamafiosa, seemed to issue orders no member of his union should communicate information to me.

With the new round up Mr_AkA_JiNgLeS was coming up on a back to back top three finish on the individual supporter killer boards. In the previous round he ditched IU_RU union for undisclosed reasons. With fury in his eyes Cocamafiosa issued the warning that Jingles should be left headless and outside the top three finish. Not an exact quote but something like that I would assume. The pure fellow in my opinion killed valiantly to see himself in a comfortable 2nd with a handful of hours left in the game. I myself put in two consecutive sleepless nights trying to ratio my little turns doing everything right but could not make up for lost ground, so I felt comfortable in third knowing that I had killed almost two million defense units in two nights with a lead of over 500 kills on fourth place: CaTtLEyA of IU_RU.

A couple top of the hours to go and here come the big boys, CaTtLEyA comes online and goes four stars and start chopping down DUs left right and center, my thoughts immediately is that I’m fucked. He seemed destined to go past Jingles but my inside source says he had internet problems. Minutes to go in the round you’d have believed that it was all over and Jingles probably imagining his shiny new silver medal, but Cocamafiosa was not going to have that. He had a disappointing showing all round sitting with a handy sum of DUs but kills not worthy of glory. That was not to be as he slaughtered millions of defense units belonging to Eck and Danzig to go pass Jingles and stop a mere one hundred thousand kills short or T_M_K’s Gold. T_M_K landed gold alright leading from front all round, but you could say that his union member Coca spared him his victory. Congrats IU_RU on a top ten supporter killer board,

Newbie on the round taking block Danzig came out victorious, this little conversation with him describes the how it unfolded.

Jamrock: You won the JP, did you face any challenges taking the round?

Danzig: Not really...most threats were taken out early and I was able to build enough off the sub that we were not too concerned.

Jamrock: How was it decided that it was your round. Do you guys have a list or something that you go off?

Danzig: No, I wish it was that planned out. I had planned to go for it 2 rounds ago and then Titus went and built. I had a full sub build and enough backers to steal but wouldn't do that to a friend. I had changed my name and wasn't in a family so he had no idea it was me. Since I hadn't spent yet the right thing to do was lay off. Then the following round we decided Eck would go for it and then the next round I would take. So here I am.

Jamrock: Level 4 1. Danzig $7,857,981,014,868.
I'm assuming that it wasn't the cap that you bought?

Danzig: No, I think I used around 850k but I passed a good bit of cash around the last minute. I think I had around 20 trills before faming banking and passing.

Jamrock: Would you have any at all attempting to just buy enough credit to say give you 10 tril build and make it a more profitable ending.

Danzig: In theory that is a nice idea...but the reality is that there are a lot of really quick builders out there. (me not being one of them) and if you try to be cheap...there is a good chance that by the time you realize you need to add turns it might be too late. I can always remeber what my first boss in sales told me. "Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered"!!

Jamrock: Let me see if I can find you hard question :)

Jamrock: So taking into consideration the profit margin for the JP and thinking you made that over the last ten days, compared to your 9 to 5 over the last 10 days. Which one made you more?

Gambit for just being a good guy. Family Matters for just being a good friend. Sheikh for raising my son TMK. Chad for buying his chick an engagement ring with TMB money. Shell , Merci and all of those chicks that are the true brains behind the operation. And Tony / Titus and all my UT friends that are always willing to jump in if needed. Oh and Storm for his constant “sexting” during my slow times at work. (puke)

Moving forward SOexclusive and Sheikh Lover finished off the level four top three. Sheikh Lover revealed himself to be Drob which was surprising seeing that he was in IU_RU. He commented that he was anti-IU but never hated them and was only against them because Phoenix was.....and they're a cool bunch.

Top three collecting family prizes went to IU_Gotta_Nerve, RU_Warriors and Lost Boys from first to third respectively. If you are a member of a team, you rely on that team; you sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion. That is what I discovered after talking with LB of LostBoys.

LostBoys is a family made up of really amazing people, each person in it has his own style and its what gives the family its individuality from others in the game. Shout outs go to; BOMB he’s one of the main reasons we rank in the top 5, Tilly our only girl haha, Donstracci, Donmillion, Anarchy has done some incredible things and Arjen a new loyal member who has proven to be one fast recruiter. Its not just the people listed here that are important, everyone in LostBoys is important because if it wasn’t for them LostBoys would not exist and wouldn’t be ranking at all, so I thank everyone in the family for being there during the hard times and for helping the family to rank.

For the future we still see ourselves doing what we do best and that is collecting. We
also have no plans of joining the big unions. "But hey, you never know what will change; after all good things come to those that work hard" And if planned right, we will be having a new surprise for TMB.

Jumping to level two top prizes, these guys are stupendous, Roksolosa looted all of 214 billion to get his hands on yet another Gold medal in that department. The_ghost followed close behind with 199 billion to claim silver and Death_Note beat out ArjenRobben by a mere 6 billion to get third.

Roksolosa also came out on top of the hit the staff competition that ended recently looting almost three times more than his closest competitor. I asked him who he considered to be quicker, killers or looters, here is his response.

I think their both pretty quick but when the killers were trying to hit the staff, most of the time looters had the upper hand. I was always asked to let so and so hit first. When it comes to the end... prolly looters.

T_M_K, Michael and Cocamafiosa took first, second and third in the killing defense unit section of the hit the staff competition, with T_M_K getting the prize for most first hits in. T_M_K winning this prize goes directly against what Roksolosa said about looters being quicker, unless he was not lying when he said killers, in this case T_M_K, asked him to let them get a hit in first before he looted and maxed the staff member.

The free players were out in the numbers as usual, as it relates to free killer boards Schofield nudged out C_Note to claim another Gold medal while UC’s Rose managed to hang on to third. Lucky Chevy who I somehow forgot when I was writing my “Victory Day” blog got lots of help from Constanzia to take level one gold with absolutely no one in the rear view mirror.

Congrats to all the winners and to those that just missed out remember that much good work is lost for the lack of a little more. And the only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary.

So I want to take this moment to bring to the fore front something that has made me wonder for awhile. We constantly hear who's the best or the best family around in the game, yet we have never addressed this question head on. So I am going to do something a little different. I want those who read this blog to post the top 10 unions ever made in the game. I am going to post my beliefs on top 10 unions and I would like to compare and contrast to maybe get a true answer to top 10 unions ever.

First, let’s define what a union is. I personally feel a union is made up of 3 or more families. I'm not even taking into account those fake unions that are put together last minute just for shits and giggles. I'm talking about real unions that show the game that numbers can equal power. So my list will consist of domination and proving a mass point. Not so much who won the most or ran the game the longest, but the ones that made some of the largest impacts on the game.

Here it goes. Love or hate my choices, but these are all personal outlook. Which is why this is a topic that really has never had a true answer. So let's try and define who the top 10 unions are.

1. DevilsGate: I spent some time in this union. I got to see the way this massive machine worked. At its peak, DevilsGate ran a large part of the game and defined what a union was supposed to be. With a structure that truly showed organization and leadership. They are ranked so high because in my eyes they defined what many perceived as a "Great Union". Not to mention they were involved in some of the greatest wars of all time.

2. 13 Omerta: Love ‘em or hate ‘em they showed TMB that a union can stand together for ages. They had many ups and downs. Recently they have started a climb back up. But this union showed how to work as one. They alone defined how banking was important when it was in play. Although times have changed, they are still the longest lasting Union in the game. Although much smaller than the original 13, they are still here doing what they can to claim the title of elite union.

3. 29_Pissheads: There is no denying that Cypriot ran Pissheads and TMB with an iron fist and fear. He alone managed to make this union into what it was. But they are ranked so high not on him alone. But the collection of people that was within it. Having ran some families for Cypriot, I know just how hard his standards for bosses were. He expected a full family and nothing less. 29_Pissheads sits at 3 because of the numbers and cities it owned through the days. When you saw 29_Pissheads move into your town, you knew it was time to start looking for the guns.

4. Enforcers/WindyCity: It was as if overnight this union managed to pop up. Enforcers pushed the boundaries by taking on Pissheads and with it came the birth of Windycity. In the city of Chicago, there was a point when all one could see was windycity icons. Most people hated them, but having spent some time in this union as well I was able to see the drive to expand as much as possible. Perhaps that was the downfall of it. The clear mass in numbers was too much to be managed and the organization was nowhere near what it should have been . Still they made a statement by the fear they evoked.

5. NYC: A union that was created amongst a variety of families they showed that a collaboration of people can come together for a purpose. That was to create a city united as one. They were known as hard hitters and sometimes the union that was a mess. But after it's all said and done, they proved a point that if you want to unite as one you can, and you can do it without everyone changing their name. The famous NYC icon will always be remembered and will always have that same thought of unity. NYC proved that a union can build levels of rank and at the same point still stand for what it was meant to.

6. Foundhell: Those of you that remember FH, will often remember the battles they were involved in, as well as the city of Liverpool being put on lockdown. Foundhell makes this list because they united behind really 3 leaders yet always managed to back them no matter what. They were large in numbers as much as they were in heart. Constant battles with DevilsGate, showed that they were willing to take on the big guys and nothing was going to stop them. They sit at 6 because although they were lead by 3 main leaders that was about it. I spent some time in this lovely union, and enjoyed every second of it. A little more delegating of power could have seen this union jump up a few spots.

7. Moctezuma: Woodsman did a hell of a job keeping this union together. They moved from city to city claiming what they felt was theirs. Although, in each trip involved a loss of members they continued to keep a large stock of players. They ranked and yet always stayed just enough out of the limelight. Moctezuma showed that a union of large size can move from city to city and still stay together. They have seen better days but are still kicking, just in a much smaller form.

8. ICS: Now some of you may seem shocked I placed them this low. Honestly so am I. But when I look at this union I see 2 main things. One, I see a union that as shown complete strength in numbers and families, and yet have always stayed true to whom they are. Two, I see them far to connected with Omerta. Now ICS members may state that they are independent of omerta and 13 and were just friends, but more often than not people connected to the two together. ICS sits at 8 because for the longest time they didn't define themselves enough as a THEIR own union. Far too tied to the 13 image yet filled with some of the best players of the game.

9. UC: Somewhat more of a newer union, yet splooge has managed to develop a union of well let's just say unique people. I have to say that at the end of the day UC is still making impacts as a union. They used to be much larger, but shrunk in size to be more efficient. But when UC was at its height, it managed to capture the attention to everyone. The tight knit group made this union in the top 10 alone. Their killing and collecting power just moves them up the ranks just enough.

10. RU/Moscow union: This union has changed its name far more times than anyone can count. But they have continued to lock down Moscow for as long as anyone can remember. They developed into a union based off the fighting that took place to claim the city. They have continued to represent and will continue to do so for as long as possible. Leadership has always been a question, as there never seems to be one clear cut leader, but everyone in this union is capable of leading in some form. Although smaller in size they have had their time of hugeness.

Notable Mentions that just barely missed the cut off (in no particular order):

Illuminati, PIC, Dynasty, SS, HKU (I'm Bias, probably shouldn't even be on here ha), Vendetta (old one), Generation, IU (unaware if they have had more than 3 fams...If they had then instant top 10), and Phoenix.

Please remember that these are all based off of my opinions. I respect every union on this list and probably missed more then I can count. But these are ones that really stood out to me. I've had the privilege of spending time in just about all these unions except for a few and met allot of great people. Each union has had its ups and downs and some were better at something's than others but they all did the greatest thing of all. Defined how unions can impact the game.

It was five-thirty three in the morning when an unpleasant ring from my cell phone off in the distance broke the silence in my dark bedroom. I had just got home four hours ago, after going on a little errand picking of a few collections, with Charles, in snowy weather of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for his father Sam. Now that I think about it, it only made sense that Sam would be calling about the status of his hard earned laundered money. A whopping sixty-five hundred dollars. I was lying in my bed facing the direction of the ceiling despite being submerged under a series of warm blankets. Of course, the blankets were considerably warm, thus shielding me from frosty atmosphere of the room; however, a chilling ring followed the previous one, and I could feel the frosty air consume my body as I reached for the phone. Quickly, I slipped the phone up under the toasty covers with me, and took a deep breath. The caller I.D. read Sam. The man who never sleeps.

“Hello?” I said while yawning simultaneously.

Sam paused for ten seconds and said in a concerned tone, “You two do that thing already? I was waiting for a call from Charles all night.”

“Yea” I said trying to under-mind the value of the sixty-five hundred dollars. “We, eh, it's done.”

"Where the hell is Char, er, that kid you went with?" He said trying to cover up the mistake he had just made over the phone.

"Him?" I said while yawning. "I don't know, I think he went with a couple of guys from The Apple. After he dropped me off, he said he had some business he had to take care of."

Sam slightly paused for what seemed like two seconds to him, but was 20 seconds in actuality. I could sense Sam was slightly angry. Sam knew Charles was smuggling X for a few guys from New York, but he couldn't tell for sure. I knew Charles was, but I mean, even if his son was dealing, Sam wouldn't say anything. If the guys upstairs ever got word that someone, or in this case his son, was dealing, they would have Sam personally whack Charles. Or, even worse, have one of us whack him. And there is nothing more awkward than the awkward moment when the skip makes you sit next to relative of the guy you whacked. It is a traditional sign of no hard feelings, but everyone knows it is everything but. Decisively, Sam then broke the twenty second silence by trying to make an alibi for his son.

"He's, ah, probably doing that thing I asked him to do." Sam said in a semi disappointed tone.

I didn't try to question him. "Yea, that's probably it." I said trying to re insure him. Plus, I wanted to go back to sleep.

"You sure you weren't with him when he went to New York?"

"No, Sam." I said firmly. I could sense he was trying to see what I knew, or if I was involved.

Sam then said, “How's Derrick?” in a concerned tone.

"He's the same" I said while yawning "I haven't seen him in a couple of weeks.” I knew Derrick, along with Carey and Billy, were in Tampa on business. However, I could tell Derrick didn't want him to know which explained such a vague question from same.

"Just you taking care of things over there huh?” He said rhetorically.
Sam slightly chuckled and said "He has button, but he's already running things over there. Real hotshot rookie"

"Thanks, I try" I said appreciatively.

"That reminds me" Sam said.

"Get dressed, kid, now. Get dressed in something special, I mean. Meet us at the fair-complex, in the parking-lot. Be there at 7:30am sharp!" Sam said quietly yet firmly.

"For what?" I said in a slightly annoyed voice. I was still tired, and I did not want to get up.

Suddenly the sound of a phone slightly crashing into its holder at the other end of line echoed in my ear. Sam had hung up.

"Finally" I said as a pleasant serge of dopamine rushed in my brain.

Despite my body being nice and toasty under the covers, immediately, I took my left arm and, with all my might, tossed the warm covers on the cold wooden panel floor. The frosty bedroom atmosphere showed my body no mercy. Even though the morning light-- seeping through the cracks of my window-- made the room slightly lit, I still could not see; however, I didn't care. I was in a rush to get dressed. Upon stepping on the floor, I could feel the excessively cold floor somewhat send jolts of chillingly cold impulses through the souls of my feet. For the first time in my life, I decided to make my first step with my right foot for some odd reason. However, every step I took toward the closet to put on my black suit, I could feel the soul of left foot slightly freeze more than the other. It felt as if every step I took with my right foot, the colder the soul of my left foot became. On the other hand, my right foot tingled as the blood rushed to revive it back to full voluntary function. I then started to get dressed. I started with putting on my light blue dress shirt.

"Damn it, my face." I said mumbling.

Without turning on the lights in the closet, I power walked toward the bathroom in the hall.

"DAMN IT! MOTHAF*CKA!" I said loudly.

Unfortunately, I slammed my left pinky toe into the corner of the bedroom doorway. I hopped on my right foot and rubbed my left pink with my left hand trying to reduce the pain. For some reason, I should have turned on the lights then, but I didn't. Nevertheless, after washing up, and putting on some Aqua di Gio I had got from a truck jacking in Chester, PA I left the house. Despite me being erroneous for the least part of my morning, I did one thing right. I made sure the lights were off.

After weaving through the car-congested snowy streets of Philly, I had made my way into the grey snow covered parking lot of Fairplex. There were a few cars parked under the dimly lit parking lot lights, but no one present. While sitting in my old F-150, I noticed a car pulling into the parking lot. I squelched my eyes upon the vehicle to see if it was anyone I knew. The car continued to approach my direction. Thinking it could be Sam or one of the guys, I pulled down the diver seat mirror and started to adjust my tie and fix my hair. My chest started to slightly pulsate as my heart started to pound considerably. Suddenly the mercadies had parked.

"This is it" I said to myself trying to overwhelm my nervousness with confidence.

The passenger door of the car had open; however, it was only a young woman dressed carelessly in a large snow jacket with a short chalky skirt. I watched her as she made her way down the street while the car drove off. Just as I laid my head on the head rest, three hard knocks on the passenger's side window of my car captured my attention. It was Tommy in a black suit. I then got out of the car and approached him.

"Sam sent for me?" I said looking past him at the car he got out of.

"Get in the car" Tommy said while carefully looking around the parking-lot.

As much as I wanted to ask where I was going, I didn't. Plenty of times I have heard past rumors of guys asking where are we going when they know for a fact they going to get their button, then end up getting whacked as a sign of distrust in the virtue of family. A guy who questions others a lot, does not make it in this life. Nevertheless, I followed him to his car.

As I started to open the door behind the front passenger's seat, Tommy said "No, you sit in the front."

Once again, I didn't ask any questions.

"Okay" I said while motioning to the front passenger's seat.

As we drove, the silent mood-- levitating in the frosty car atmosphere-- could not have been more nerve racking. My mind raced with thoughts of suspicion; where was I going. My palms began to sweat, and my throat began to grow stiff. My stomach began to ache, and every time the car made swift turns onto the next snowy lane, my stomach would toss and turn. To make matters worse, the driver of the car, Tommy's brother Timmy, turned around and smiled at Tommy. Tommy then gazed at me for a few seconds while waiting for the street light to turn red, thus deepening my suspension.

After a few more blocks, we had made a turn into a street encompassed by a series of average maintained houses dressed in snow. As we drove slowly, I could see yards with a few patches of snow, warn down dog houses covered in snow, and a few warn down cars parked in front a houses. Oddly enough, we had parked in front of one of the houses were a quite a few cars were parked. Both Tommy and Timmy got out of the car, and so did I. Tommy walked in front of me, and Timmy walked behind me as we all made our way towards the door of the small off-white house with its roof covered in snow. My heart was pounding, and for some reason, I started to think about Tommy DeVito in Goodfellas. Yeah, it sounds silly to compare such a situation to mine, but don't forget it was based off a true story. I slightly turned my head to the right to keep an eye on Timmy's hand movements. Suddenly, the door had opened.

Slowly, we walked in the slightly lit room, but,it was empty with just a chair stationed in the middle. My body began to shake with fear, thus not wanting to move. I forced my left foot to step forward, then my right foot. With my heart racing, my breathing growing more constrained, and my body unconsciously shaking, all I could think of was my family and Loraine. Tommy then turned around, and reached into his suit jacket.

"BANG!"

Suddenly, from my left, a person entered the room. The pressure on my heart was relieved.

"What you three just standing there for?" Carey said chuckling while dusting off his dark grey suit. "Come on, It's time for you to get your button, kid."

We all would agree that our mafia boss game experience more than anything else surrounds the concept of winners and losers.

This game is a adored and addictive because we are trapped in a community that host players that possess behavior, or a disposition, that is forceful, hostile and even attacking. It may occur either in retaliation or without provocation. This aggression can take a variety of forms and can be communicated verbally, but impacts the game more when communicated non-verbally. We keep coming back because even though we don’t always finish on top, even though we may at times be put down by big supporters, even though we face insurmountable challenges we have a drive within us that yearn for victory.

A yearn for victory was instilled in us from inception, we all want to win. Whether it may be on our own terms, where we fight to succeed with the little that we have, or if it’s that we go with the flow and stick to those that led us in the path. We all want to build character, build our names, and be remembered for our accomplishments. And how do we achieve this feat? We aim to hold all twenty-four medals awarded for our hard work (twenty-one if you take into consideration that supporter killers and free killers share the same medals).

Medals have historically been given as prizes in various types of competitive activities. These metals designate the first three Ages of Man in Greek mythology: the Golden Age, when men lived among the gods; the Silver age, where youth lasted a hundred years; and the Bronze Age, the era of heroes.

Let me use this medium to salute players that have completed all medal sets or they are well on there way to do so. Before I provide names of such individuals, it should be noted that more than anything else, it is the awards on player profiles that keep us coming back. So it would be a great to see a page allocated for stalwarts who have done exceedingly well throughout there TMB career. Ribbons could be placed on profiles, for top players with the most individual medals by their year badges and ribbons for winners of annual competition. Please provide feedback on this though. As I read on a thread title once, “Staff is watching”.

Round 399 was bound to be a great one. It was going to have a lot of killing and there was going to be a lot of money flowing. It was bound to be active, as it was a Main round where transfers were enabled. This was advertised 2-3 rounds in advance so that players could start making their plans, banks could get lined up and players could dust off their credit cards. Here were the official rules:

JP Starts at $300
Transfers Allowed
Ops hits cost 100 turns
Family Bank and personal safebox at 50%
Maxing Networth set at 5%
Round capped at 360k credits
All other rules remain the same!

As the round started Half_Banked started out from the get go. The normal characters were working with the bank that has had some success in the past; Omerta, CapoDiTuttiCapo, ICS, SouthSide, Cheese, United_Coalition, Renegades and several other families. IU/RU didn’t seem bothered to start their bank immediately. Gambit did a nice-sized collect and then TMK was the one who was sending out gun cash. One new bank did catch the people’s eyes. Insane bank was up and running. INSANE6, formerly of ICS, took a group of seasoned members and started his own bank. Money was starting to flow, activity was up as transfers were enabled again. Even the looters were getting back in on the action.

While transfers being enabled were a welcomed change to many, some things in game never seem to change. The cities of TMB were a slaughterhouse once again. In the first day or so, UC jumped into an early lead, led by their fearless don, Splooge. While Splooge was killing everything in sight, it seemed as though he had ulterior motives. Sources say that he wanted to kill, but he was also trying to bait one of his former killers, BATMAN. It seemed that there was some bad blood between the two of them. BATMAN has been in and out of so many different families. Seems as though every few rounds he becomes a free agent and someone takes him in. BATMAN took his first Gold Killer Medal with 4,756,904 kills.

INSANE6 took Silver with 3,591,337 kills and Lu_Bu took Bronze with 2,615,511 kills. IU/RU clearly dominated in the Supporter Killer Ranks, which is no surprise to many. IU are killers, it’s what they do.

In the Free Killer ranks Renegades dominated. MarkoeZ (916,926), Monkey_D-Luffy (816,697) and Mickey3rd (770,711) took all the spots. Great job to all as it seems Schofield is doing something right with his killers. Newcomer to SouthSide, Spagliary missed Bronze killer in just his fourth round to TMB.

Drob was the first player to go 4 stars, but he waited to activate, which had many wondering what his plans were. The second to go 4 stars was BATMAN, but it was easy to see that he was clearly using all his turns for killing and not collecting. By the 4 day mark, Half_Banked had amassed over 2 trillion dollars. The collectors had started to put in work. Somewhere around day 3 IU/RU started targeting Ops from Half_Banked. Some of them didn’t start hitting ops until day 2. IU/RU was planned for anything, so said several IU members. Who_Cares , MajorMe and a few others were waiting in wings, building outside of their families. As the round entered the last day, Half_Banked had what seemed to be a decent start, knowing that they wouldn’t have a lot of big spenders for the last day. In the last few hours families started shifting. It looked as if Half_Banked was planning on ranking 3 solid families, but as anyone who was played TMB for some time knows, in a transfer round, anything can happen. You never know what is going go down. Ranks shift right up until the last few second.

Bomb started his build in the last hour or so of the round. He collected a few trillion and surprised a few by sending off to IU/RU! When asked about this he commented:

“All I did was to help some old friends.
I am not part of IU but when they asked if I could help I said yes.”

Half_Banked suffered some pretty hard hits on their ops. They didn’t have many have that many left that could build big, but Popebenedict was waiting patiently. He then collected and sent up to the bank for distribution amongst the ranks.

Who_Cares did his collect and then money was again shifted around. You could tell that IU/RU wanted the round. At least that was the way that it seemed from the outside looking in. When asked about taking the round and if that was their plan all along here is what he said:

“It was not down to just me. It was down to everyone that is with IU and RU and the hard work they put in every round to make sure that we have a chance to compete against the whole game when these rounds come about.”

I had the opportunity to speak with a few of the people that ran Half_Banked and these were some of their comments:

“Like normal, no one can really predict what will happen during the end of round madness, but this time we were working as a team with a solid plan of action.

During the course of the round our maxers had done solid work on our bankers and this did not
change after the last TOH when they swiftly maxed our rankers.

The plan was never to go for the JP, but to maximize ranks elsewhere by making the opponents
stay high and prevent them from spreading their cash. In the age old game of last minute money
shifting, we set pope to first in Lv4 and watched how quickly the money would be redistributed
within the tiers.

In the dying minutes of the game, the plan came into motion, I re-banked my family from pope
and after that he began distributing cash to our individual rankers. Final adjustments to
individual ranks were made by Protege and Pope in the final seconds of the game.

“It was really nice to come together with old family and friends and work together again during the round. With the new rules this is something I (and many others) miss. There is a lot of
camaraderie when you work together for 10 days with others to achieve a common goal. Some
people think you win only if you take the JP… but winning is not always about taking the JP or coming in first.

It was also nice to give ranking opportunity to members who otherwise have very little chance
to rank on their own. They deserve to be acknowledged as well, even if they are not big
spenders.” – Stinger

In the end, Who_Cares of IU ended up taking the round, adding another Level 4 Gold Medal to his collection. Clock and DD_s ended up taking Level 4 Silver and Bronze respectively. Half_Banked ended up with taking Collector Family Level 4 Gold. Half-Tanked and ALL_INSANE_KILLERS snatched up Silver and Bronze. Who were the true victors of the round? While it was definitely a great round by all, one has to ask. Who came out on top? Either way it was definitely a great round, with tons of action.

It has been a long time since the killer ranks were introduced in it's current format. We saw a vicious start, IU at that time and we are a year further and we still notice the same. Well not exactly the same, it only got worse. They get not only the family killer medals, but also the tiers ranks go to them almost every round. But a lot of you forget that they were already killing before the ranks returned.

Why are we fighting?

It may seem like a war that can't be won, but is that the right conclusion of the ongoing event that we have noticed for over a year??? Results are results and what happened won't change. Nothing has ever stayed the same on this game. We have had numerous families that made their name. We had numerous families that killed the whole game. We had epic battles between supporters in the past. We had total domination by different families in the past. And yes, they were all here and ruling for a certain period in this game. IU is just one of the families that belong in this category. It might even be one of the best that TMB has ever known. It's not the old era but in the current era they are outstanding.

I already hear you thinking "a pro IU blog.” Shut the fuck up, Dude. Well I can tell you that's not my intention. This is just the current status of the game.
And most of you know every family had its time but was overruled by another. And that's how TMB works. Eventually they will fall, split or loose. A better organized group of players will stand up some day.

Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

There have been numerous try-outs from a lot of families to battle this machine. Some even succeeded to take away a round from them, but neither of them succeeded in keeping it up. There are a couple of reasons for this. IU has some major supporters but also some hardcore killers who never did anything else and are amazingly fast. It's hard to beat such a well-oiled machine with all the experience they’ve got. But NOTHING is IMPOSSIBLE! It might even happen sooner than you think.

Is the end finally nearby?

With pain in the heart (for a lot) I have to admit that it won't happen any time soon. As long as the whole game doesn't succeed in breaking IU's backbone, they will not fall.

They’re extremely loyalty and should be admired by any objective player in the game. If you look at this team it has had the same players for ages and these guys are still motivated after all those rounds to keep their game up. The hatred for them is so high that almost everybody gets caught up in the “Embrace the Hate”. Most of you forget they worked for it. They didn't take over the game from the first round they played. They started just like all of you. They played rounds in different families, learned the game, learned tactics, changed again and at some point they all came in contact with each other. Step by step they created an "elite" team of killers. They came from nothing and they are at the top of their game. And their top is going on for a long time in the killer rankings.

But is that a reason to hate them so much?

Well if you ask me I don't think so. I have been mad at them many times for zeroing me or taking my ops. But deep inside me they earned my respect. I have never seen a team in this game that can maintain this kind of status over such a long time in killing. The whole game has spit on them, yet still they stand here, at the top of the rankings.

What is left for us?

Maybe it can help for some families to have realistic objectives. An "elite" team is not created in one round. A team grows over a long period. In the meanwhile, search for realistic objectives and observe how they do it. It won't do it to beat them, but learn from them. Adapt to how they play and try strategies out.

Haven't we seen Renegades fighting in one of the past main rounds? Yes we did! This family was ranking between 6th and 10th, round after round but they tried to step up their game. The result was a great fight for 3rd place. They didn't make it but they had awesome kills for a small family. Everybody knows the machine can't be stopped that easy. But can they keep it up to rank every round with 2 families in top 3? That's the question. It is time to take up your guns, put your minds together and start working on the future.

Imagine that your family is able to rank consistently in the top 5 for some rounds and can make the step to top 3. The road is fully open at that point! More players will be interested and even new supporters could come in. Wouldn't this open brand new battlefields to fight on? Yes it would! And they (IU) will respect you if you take up the guns in a fair way.

YOU can be part of a changing future! One of the longest ruling periods from a family in TMB can end in 2012. So here we go, heads up, guns loaded and get on the battlefield with respect! Play fair and don't “embrace the hate”. There is too much hate in the world! Have fun in the game and be part of the ones that can change the future. And if you do fail, at least you can say you tried to do something about it.

With Turbo Round 400 falling right in the middle of the Easter Holiday weekend it left an opening for many players to take a chance at finding that lucky golden egg of opportunity. As many players celebrated the holiday with family and friends others took the time to step up their game during the quiet almost empty streets of TMB. They found their family celebration right here working hard at the everlasting egg hunt.

The Turbo Round 400 Rules were as follows:

JP Starts at $300
5 per family
No Leaving Families
Transfers Allowed
Transfers in family only
No Revenges
10% of net to max
Ops hits cost 1000 Turns
Family banks and Personal safe at 25% deposit
2-1 Ratio on won or bought turns added
Round Capped at 180k won or bought

With the rules set forth, it was very plain to see that those who would succeed this round were those with a good strong family. From the start many brought together their five strongest players and began to plot the best laid plans to success. Only time will tell whose plans succeeded. Open banking was a lost art this turbo as transfers were in family only and once you joined a family that was where you stayed. Looting opportunities were left wide open with the 10% maxing and only 25% banking. Looks like a field full of colorful eggs was left wide open to anyone eager enough to find them.

Day one of turbo many jumped the gun and started off strong. Killing was in full force come that first TOH. It might be due to the adverse wars going on in main between respected killing families, or it could have been due to the holiday falling right in the middle of the round. Many finding the need to get what they could, before being swept away by family rituals the following day. Full bellied and sleepy many return the evening of day two to continue on their vast journey to greatness. One family in particular made a statement alone with their family name. No_1_is_safe made it quite apparent that they were out for blood. With Pennywise leading his pack of killers it’s hard telling who will be evasive enough to escape the rapture he has set forth to endure. Jumping into the rat race you see two UC families UC_Justice_League and UC_Tekken. Even if you outsmarted one or two of these killing families, could you possibly evade all three? Not likely. Once they get they get the taste of blood on their pallets there is no stopping any of them.

The fight for killer ranks was long and hard. In the supporter killers the top tiers were so close one could smell the sweat and blood for miles around. Pennywise takes the final lead in this race with 6,755,043 kills. Following this harsh killer was FIFA with 5,671,337 kills. FIFA barely held on to that second place spot. Leader of the UC_Tekken family, Lei_Wulong, gave him a run for his money with 5,211,127 kills. A mere 460k kills shy of taking second. Free killer tiers cut it close as well. The top tiers all fell within a gap of approximately 700k kills from the number one spot to the number three spot. X-XX-XXX-XXXX took the gold with 3,024,430, followed by BillyNoMates with 2,501,556 kills. Bringing up the rear in top free killers was Smiley_face, having 2,289,045 kills. The free killer race was definitely a site to see this round. No_1_is_safe really held meaning to their family name by taking the gold family killing. Apparently they made sure no one was safe taking no hostages and leaving an empty battlefield behind them. Taking in the silver and bronze killer family were the two UC families, UC_Justice_League and UC_Tekken respectively. No_1_is_safe had a large lead on both the UC families in the end, however, the two UC families came close to who would take second and third. Now the question for UC is was it planned or was there a little bit of in family fun and rivalry going on?

The last hour always brings out the collecting families. Laying low and building all round it is hard telling who will join forces and go for the gold. With operative hits costing 1000 turns it is safe to say that for the most part the collectors were left to their accords this round. Families pulling together their strongest collectors and banking what they can in hopes for that family tier. Some families focus more on getting members a tier rank rather than a family rank. In the end only a few will prosper.

Many of the tiers, solo and family, came pretty close in the end. Taking up the lead in family ranks was Insane_Bday_Party led by Swiper, an infamous looter of sorts. Would have loved to take part in that celebration as it led up to the gold family and what a great birthday present to receive. Taking second family was Golden_Shower. In hopes to be showered in gold they ended up being showerd in silver. Still a feat worth celebrating. And here comes the Sexy_Time family taking in the bronze. Out of no where they rise through the ranks in the last minutes of the round bumping down RU_IU_Lets_Play down to fourth. However, it is not often to see a family rank in the top five of both collecting and killing. A round of applause to the RU_IU_Lets_Play family for taking fourth collecting and fifth killing. It would seem FIFA led his family to greatness this turbo round.

Basically we ( toxxxic, Insane, KANKAKEE1 and myself) went in with a plan, the fifth member was TBA. In past turbos we have had our team members join right away, however this turbo our plan was to WAIT TILL EOR. Our reasoning was simple... in the past members were unable to make EOR and became unusable for the banking process, thus limiting the families ability to maximize the family bank.
Finally, for the first time EVER, a plan came together and everyone was able to make EOR.

As the clock runs down many families begin to send off what they can to their members for ranking in the tier spots. Each level was a close battle for the top spots merely split by miniscule amounts in retrospection. Level One was led by uMad, the leader of Sexy_Time, followed by Horse_Force and The_FONZ. uMad had the largest jump in networth over the silver spot in all levels except four. Seems it was an easy gold win for him. Desire took the gold in Level Two, and what a coincidence in the name, as desire is the only thing that can lead to a gold medal. Trooper and toxxxic came in second and third in level two. Seems the Insane_Bday_Party family wasn’t done celebrating with their gold family win. And what’s this? Another coincidence in names in the Level Three tiers. It would seem that 1 took first in Level Three. Could it all possibly be planned from the start that Desire would lead Level Two while 1 led Level Three. Only those involved know the answer to that. Coming up in second and third in Level Three were Spartacus and Uncle_Tom. Now for the grand prize winner. At first glance it may have looked like Chong would be a shoe in for the win. However, as time winds down you see Kenzo jumping through the ranks taking the win with $15 trillion. Stomping on Chong’s $7 trillion and snagging that gold level four and the Jackpot. Chong ended up with the silver level four followed by Stapler in third.

For the first time in awhile I am going to have a blog put up that does not focus on Untouchables, Omerta, or even the constant killing battle between UC and IU. No, instead I am going to take this moment to talk about those families that have achieved great things, in my eyes, through this new era of TMB. Yes I know it is hard to believe that there are still families in the game that thrive and survive without sucking up for turns. They simply make their own way, and in return have earned not only my respect but surely the respect of others.

First we are going to look at a family as I remember first seeing them off real fast start. It was almost instantly that LOSTBOYS impacted the game. Hell there was even talk that they would break the top 10 repeatedly. They had 2 members that really enjoyed spending, but they ran a family mostly of one star players. This to me is a huge accomplishment. They started in TMB when it was still undecided who would take the reins of the game. Even before UT stepped up and started claiming rounds all the time. LOSTBOYS made an impact by growing fast and by showing us all that one star families still can make rank. They have been known to kill, but they consist more so of collectors than anything else. If you haven't seen or talked to some of them check em out in Liverpool, as that's where they usually are based.

The next family I want to look at is well, let's just say lead by a very vocal leader. He goes by the name of Wankstink. Wankstink is that guy that is always messaging you trying to get some info out of you. However what no one really knows is that at the end of the day he can run one hell of a family. AE_Dons has managed to snag a lot of subscribers and build a healthy number of stars. It has proven in its time in TMB that with a little thinking it can rank high in the collecting families. Although they have their moments when they can kill they are also truly known as a collecting union. Based in London you can always see them flying some sort of funny things on their profiles. They have a very bright future and only seem to be increasing members as well as supporters. Where this family will go who knows but they are defining themselves in the world of TMB.

The last family is semi dear to my heart. What I mean by this is Renegades whom are based in Las Vegas. This family has taken over the city with a skill set that has shown to be something to hard to come by these days, unless you're in IU or UC. Renegades have managed to show repeatedly that they can kill and for a family filled with one stars they do a hell of a job at it. When I retired HKU some rounds ago I worried Vegas would fall into the hands of some idiots. For the longest time it was my home and in a way still is. But Renegades came in and started to make some moves. I can honestly say I'm ok with handing the torch over to Schofield and the rest of the Renegades and let them show what's left of city pride in this game. Where the Renegades will go is really unsure. They remain to stay small and are constantly chasing the bronze killer award. Perhaps soon they will be able to jump to the next level and show what they can really do.

I'm sure there are a million more other families. Well actually more like 4 I could name off but they are constantly disappearing or have already made a name for themselves. Yes I'm referring to you Cheese. Many of the families have already shown over and over again that they can really impact the game on a whole new level when they come to play. Whether it be killing or collecting they have always shown that a single family can do some major damage to the outlook of the game. All this is based on what I have seen and what I make of it I'm sure everyone has a different outlook and that is what makes TMB amazing.
