Turbo 478 was an obvious collecting pissing match. Many players had high subscriptions that were bought with the 50% off promotion. Also with the max turns at only 360,000 it was much easier for a player to max out than when the turns are capped at 1,000,000. Because of these collecting incentives, many players decided to go for Jackpot or indie ranks.

Niaz, boss of IUs Guerilla Squad took Jackpot with the help of some of his high-ranking members. We have seen IU_GS for several rounds now and even though it is not surprising to seem them take a family rank most rounds; this was the first Jackpot they have received since the families beginning in round 452.

Even though most players spent their time collecting, the battlefields were where the action was. There were fewer players killing in this round and because of the high nets, killers and looters really had to show their strategy prowess in order to be able to quickly change net levels, match DUs, move from city to city, and do as much damage as possible without maxing their opponents for the hour.

The killers were the unsung hero’s of this round for sure. Battle trophies were low this round so we didn’t see them change a lot of hands. Most of the violence was geared toward and level ¾ players who weren’t supposed to build. I would like to make a side comment to Storm, “What does a battle trophies look like?”

Again, I want to point out how much skill I was able to whiteness as killers dropped their net from billions to thousands in order to zero an opponent or steal some BTs and then shoot right back up to a range of forty billion or so. I also am amazing at the dedication that goes into protecting. For someone to protect every minute for possible hours is true dedication. On the flip side, being able to snipe an opponent’s defensive unites at the prices moment they are a second to late in protecting requires the same if not more patience and determination.

Cocaine proved to be the strongest killer, ending the round with 3,414,800 BTs. I ended the round with 24 so I fell a little short. Some free killers collected, as many BTs as possible at the beginning and dropped their net to zero in hopes that they wouldn’t be over taken before EOR.

There is no disrespect for collectors, both tactics take skill in order to rank. Killer’s just seemed to play a bigger roll in this round.

Also, note the popular Mafioso contest. Make sure you vote for your favorite Mafioso. Shout out to Daveyboy. I voted for you!

At one point I was looking at the Awards page and was intrigued to see Pedobears_Victum was the most raped Mafioso while one of the most violent was Pedobear. Classic. Why don’t we get awards for being the most violent? Or the most raped? This could provide yet another thing to strive for during game play. Something to think about TMB Staff.

If you think there should be awards given for being on the Awards page at the end of the round comment below!
